Your position as Manager Logistics
As Manager Logistics, you are responsible for organising and optimising the daily logistics within our warehouse. Together with your team, you ensure that all incoming, outgoing and internal orders run smoothly. 

Your tasks
As a key person in the logistics department, you will ensure that all processes are understood and followed, and that orders are processed accurately. You will also ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction and financial commitments are met. The Logistics Manager reports to the Director of Operations and manages a team of 2 warehouse employees. Other responsibilities include:

• perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements;
• partner and communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers;     
• organise transportation activities and coordinate movement of goods and return shipments;
• review freight rates and other transportation costs on a regular base to keep working costs low;
• complete inventory control with up to-date-data;
• signaling and taking action on delivery dates when exceeding to prevent a backorder situation;
• providing a safe, clean and organised working environment.

Who are you?
With your knowledge of logistics, you ensure that all processes run as effectively and efficiently as possible. As an experienced manager, you know how to bring out the best in your team members. Besides managing, you also actively work with your team in the warehouse.

• 5+ years of experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations;
• a completed education in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration or transportation is a big plus:
• good knowledge of supply chain, inventory management, distribution, business principles and management principles;
• working knowledge of MS Office and an ERP system;
• good command of the Dutch and English languages, in word and writing;

• a strong team player with excellent organisational, - and analytical skills.
